FriMi’s ‘Wilbert Uncle’ campaign picked up the Gold Award in the ‘Digital Brand Bravery’ category and the Bronze Award for ‘Best digital marketing campaign’ in the banking and finance category.
FriMi provides customers a range of lifestyle services that goes beyond banking, creating true value for the customer.
The ‘Wilbert Uncle’ campaign captured the hearts and minds of the audience, illustrating the simplicity and speed with which money can be sent through FriMi App up to Rs. 1 Million per day to a mobile phone, without the need of an account number.
This removed the risk of entering inaccurate information and inadvertently sending funds to a wrong account.
Commenting on the victory was Sanjaya Senarath, Chief Marketing Officer, Nations Trust Bank.
“FriMi gives the most user-friendly experience, and can be widely used for nearly all banking transactions.
The ‘Wilbert Uncle’ campaign captures the clear difference between the hassle of conventional banking and money transfer methods as opposed to the ease with which FriMi facilitates transactions even in the direst of circumstances.
We are thrilled by these awards and will continue to innovate for the benefit of our customers,” he said.
