Athula completes a world-class collective of 110 regional industry experts from the APAC region at Spikes Asia, the region's oldest award for excellence in creative communications and marketing effectiveness, celebrating the very best in creativity.
Athula Kathriarachchi is the only jury representative from Sri Lanka for this prestigious event as he joins the Design and Industry Craft Jury.
Along with Athula, creative peers from Publicis Groupe APAC, including, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, India, and Taiwan will also join the live judging panels across various categories of Spikes Asia.
In addition to Spikes Asia, as one of the brightest creative minds in the Publicis Groupe, Athula has made his mark at multiple international award shows including D&AD Impact, Cannes Lion - Shortlist, New York Art Director’s Club Global Awards, One Show, Clio, and AdStar.
Over the years, his rich haul of international awards includes being named as #1 for Sri Lanka’s Hottest Creatives in 2020 by Campaign Brief Asia along with recent wins at AdFest 2019 with Gold and a Grand Prix at the Epica Awards in 2020 for Petal Paint.
Sharing his views on his appointment Athula Kathriarachchi stated,
“I am honoured to be presented with the opportunity to represent Sri Lanka and Publicis Groupe as a judge at the Spikes Asia Festival 2023.
