250 specific locations across the country will be provided with free Wi-Fi within the next two weeks, led by the Information and Communications Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) along with the support of all telecommunication operators in Sri Lanka.

ICTA plans to provide free Wi-Fi in around 1,000 specific locations across the country.
The first 250 locations will be operational by the end of March with the 750 remaining being completed within the next 60 to 90 days.
