This is not the first time Saroja has been recognized for her achievements.
When she qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, 12 years ago, she was the only local with that qualification working in Sri Lanka.
In 2010, when she qualified as an Associate of the same institute she was the youngest and only female with such a qualification in Sri Lanka.
Her entire University education is from the UK, B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics, Diploma in Actuarial Science and M.Sc. in Actuarial Science for all of which she obtained a First-Class honours or Distinction.
