Atlas Axillia and ECO SPINDLES Set goal to Recycle 1.5Mn Kilograms of Plastic in Sri Lanka

Businesscafe - Atlas Axillia recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ECO SPINDLES Pvt Ltd to reduce plastic waste in Sri Lanka. The agreement was signed to forge a partnership focused on enhancing the recycling of plastic waste, preventing its accumulation in the environment, and renewing plastics that would otherwise deteriorate, causing harm to human health.


Mr. Asitha Samaraweera, Managing Director of Atlas Axillia, along with Mr. Randika De Silva, the Head of Marketing of Atlas Axillia and Mrs. Nadeeka Jayasinghe, Head of Corporate Affairs of Atlas Axillia were present at this momentous event.


Representing ECO SPINDLES Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Prasantha Malimbadage, Chief Project Officer and Chief Executive Officer, reached an agreement with Atlas Axillia to achieve its goal of recycling more than 1.5 million kilograms of plastic.


This initiative seeks to improve the collection and recycling of PET bottles, thereby minimising environmental pollution.


Commenting on this initiative Mr. Asitha Samaraweera, Managing Director of Atlas Axillia stated,
