As a result of the MoU, Holcim will be supporting SLIA by sponsoring their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events.
The forthcoming event for 2015/2016 will be organized by the CPD committee, headed by top Architect Dr. Nishan Wijetunga under the auspices of Chairman, Professional Affairs Board Archt. Janaka Dharmasena and Board members.
Organised by the Professional Affairs Board, the SLIA periodically conducts CPD events as a professional obligation to systematically improve its member’s knowledge and ability in the profession of architecture.

In the past, Holcim Lanka has hosted discussions such as the use of durable concrete for high rise buildings in order to further knowledge in the architecture profession.
