The project agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Airport Aviation Sri Lanka, Mr. Dammika Ranathunga at the presence of Mohammed Rizvi, CEO, P.Nirmalan, Board Director, Chaminda De Silva, Director and Viraj Fernando, General Manager representing Softlogic Holdings PLC.

Through the replacement of the SMARDT magnetic bearing chillers at the BIA, following the com-pletion of the project, the BIA would have an air-conditioning facility that is energy efficient, zero oil-related maintenance and ultra-quiet.
Whereby the project would prove to be cost effective and sustainable as there is no oil to change the heat transfer rates in the heat exchangers.
