The premium bakery offers local farm ingredients and baked goods with eat in and grab-and-go dining options.
James Martin said: “I am excited to add James Martin Kitchen into the mix at one of the UK’s busiest airports.
Having collaborated with many of Britain’s greatest and smallest food suppliers, passengers will experience a menu of ‘proper British food’, and the fresh flavours and produce will speak for itself.
“Working with SSP was truly rewarding and helped bring James Martin Kitchen to reality.
As a leading F&B operator in the food travel sector, they continuously had the customer in mind so I know James Martin Kitchen is tailored specifically for its audience at Stansted.”
As reported, the new outlet is part of SSP UK’s seven year £135 million contract with Manchester Airports Group - and a big element in the airport’s £80 million terminal transformation.
SSP UK also operates Starbucks, Burger King, M&S Simply Food and a soon-to-open bar named Cabin at the airport.
SSP UK and Ireland CEO Simon Smith said: “It is a pleasure to collaborate with Stansted Airport and to bring a contemporary, innovative and exciting new menu to its passengers.”
Manchester Airports Group Retail Director Beth Brewster added: “Our aim at Stansted is to give passengers greater choice and James Martin Kitchen offers something a little bit different and will be a very popular addition to the Stansted menu.”
