AIA Annual Company Conference 2023

Businesscafe - The AIA Annual Company Conference 2023 was an evening full of glamour to recognise and reward employee achievements.

It is a red-letter day in the company calendar and employees are celebrated for their hard work that contributed to the company’s success.

8 CEO’s Special Awards and 132 Leadership Essential Awards were awarded to the outstanding employees at the conference along with the Most Talented Child award which is won by the best all-round child among the employees’ children.

The 2022 MDRT achievers were also recognised at the event.

AIA CEO Chathuri Munaweera, Chief Agency Officer Chanaka Liyanage and Director Partnership Distribution Senaka Rajapakse made presentations, highlighting the company’s performance during the year while applauding the achievements of individuals and teams alike.

The event was hosted by AGM HR Chalini Guneratne and Associate Director Agency Distribution, Dimuthu Piyasena with our very own employees who added colour to the event with their musical performances.

Entertainment was not forgotten, with Adithya Weliwatte, Ravi Royster, Chandana’s dance troupe and Naadro Drummers adding some musical flavour to the Company Conference.

Thushari Perera, Director HR added

"It was truly a moment of immense pride to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our employees.

After three long years, we had the privilege of coming together, not just as a company, but as a family to honour the dedication and hard work that has driven our success.

Seeing employees from all corners of our island come together to revel in their accomplishments warms my heart.

Our Annual Company Conference is not just an event; it's a testament to the spirit of unity, determination, and excellence that defines AIA.

Congratulations to all the winners – you are the embodiment of our shared values and the driving force behind our continued success."
