The high-profile tournament, which will be organised by the Badminton Association of India, in association with the Karnataka Badminton Association, will be overseen by Badminton Asia and the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Nettasinghe, seeded 6th, and Herath will be among the nine international players in the 64-player Men’s Singles main draw.
Nettasinghe, who recently represented the country at the Hangzhou Asian Games, where he reached the Round of 16, will take on India’s AryamanTandon in his first-round match in Bengaluru.
Herath will meet India’s ShreyanshJaiswal in his Round of 64 match.
The tournament offers a total prize pool of $25,000 and is one of the key international tournaments in the Indian badminton calendar.
