A Level 1 ranking tournament under SLB, the seven-day event is set to attract top shuttlers from all around the country.
The tournament will feature events under Junior, Senior, and an Over-110 Combined age category in Open and Plate segments for boys, girls, men and women in both singles and doubles.
Under the Senior category, events are scheduled to take place in Singles for men and women and Doubles under women, men and mixed in addition to the Over-110 age Combined category.
The Open category will be held under Singles and Doubles for men and women, and Mixed Doubles while the Plate segment will mostly feature Singles events.
Winners are set to receive a combined cash reward of Rs. 750,000 in addition to medals and certificates at the Western Province All-Island Open Badminton Championship, which will be sponsored by McFoil, Mobil, LiNing, 3M and GAC.
