Lux Wows Again with Fragrant Gold Jewellery

Unilever’s iconic beauty brand Lux, wowed the media when they unveiled their latest brand innovation, ‘Lux Fragrant Gold’ to a packed media briefing.

Addressing the gathering, Unilever’s Category Head Skin Cleansing, Shanika Jayawardana said “ For the very first time, consumers will have the opportunity of experiencing and wearing Fine Fragrance which is now not limited to a bar of soap, but is encapsulated in a beautifully crafted pendant, made of gold and infused with the signature Lux French Rose Fine Fragrance”.

“Lux which has been making headlines recently as a result of a host of innovations, including a French Fine Fragrance being at the heart of its soap, has over the years been synonymous with beauty and glamour, and now we will be giving our consumers the opportunity of wearing Fine Fragrance infused jewellery, thus creating yet another milestone in Lux’ unique and star studded history” said Ms. Jayawardana.

The evening commenced with a display of the pendants by models, while the Fragrance Zones enabled all those present to experience the unique Lux French Rose Fine Fragrance.


The unique Lux Fragrant Rose pendants were also showcased, giving all present a closer view of this beautifully crafted piece of jewellery.


The darling of the Silver Screen Pooja Umashanker, then made her appearance to the delight of all present, to gift the lucky winners who had already benefitted as a result of the consumer promotion, with their pendants.

Sri Lankan skies were taken over by Lux when a special air drop of French Roses took place at selected cities around the island on Valentines Day, giving lovers both young and old an opportunity of winning a beautifully crafted gold Rose pendant, infused with Lux French Rose Fine Fragrance, with the much talked about Lux French Rose pendant being handed over to those fortunate enough to secure the special rose amongst the many.
