Interestingly, this win means that Elephant House Cream Soda has essentially dominated the top “Beverages” spot in each year consecutively, since the very first awards ceremony in 2006.
Furthermore, Elephant House Cream Soda was also fortunate to emerge victorious in the highly coveted “Youth Choice Beverage Brand of the Year” category, a result of its widely-accepted youthful image and popularity, solely maintained by the dedication and love of its excellent fans.
The SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards stand out because it is the public that acts as the ultimate judge, being able to rate their favorite brands, personalities, advertisements, films, tele-dramas, etc. and deliver their verdict.
Selection of the winners was a result of a nationwide quantitative face-to- face survey covering males and females between the ages of 15 to 60, over a period of five months, using a structured questionnaire.
The survey tapped all districts in the country including, the North and East, and was conducted by trained interviewers from Nielsen, who chose the districts, streets and households they visited based on a randomized selection methodology.
