Throughout October – recognised internationally as Breast Cancer Awareness month – Nuance is using store space, technology and donations with purchase to promote the cause in Zürich and Cardiff Airports.
Nuance EMEA Category Manager for P&C and Food Henrik Ottosson commented: “We are pleased to be able to further advance and promote the BCA Campaign with our long-term partner The Estée Lauder Companies. The underlying message of this campaign is that we are stronger together, which reflects our commitment to work side by side with The Estée Lauder Companies to raise awareness for this appeal. By supporting our partner in its BCA Campaign we hope to help raise both awareness and donations for this very worthy cause.”
The Estée Lauder Companies Vice President/General Manager Travel Retail EMA Jean-Charles Séité added: “As the late Mrs Evelyn H. Lauder, our founder and guiding spirit, always said, ‘It really is something that can never be done by any one person; it has to be done by a group.’ In true ‘We’re Stronger Together’ spirit, The Estée Lauder Companies Travel Retail is pleased to partner with The Nuance Group for the 2014 BCA Campaign’s fight against breast cancer.”
Nuance is dedicating retail and marketing space to raise awareness for The Estée Lauder Companies’ BCA Campaign, and has introduced customised offers in both Zürich and Cardiff Airports. For example, with every purchase of Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair, customers receive a pink ribbon key ring, and a donation is made to support the BCA Campaign.
Informative BCA Campaign videos are being broadcast on new digital screens to inspire and encourage customers to support the cause. Nuance’s interactive tablets are also being used to showcase BCA material, alongside dedicated space on the Zürich and Cardiff Duty Free websites.
The Zürich duty free store has donated space for the BCA Campaign directly in front of the Estée Lauder offer on level one. Bringing the campaign to the forefront of the walk-through store, Nuance employees are highlighting the events by wearing pink ribbons and pink t-shirts.
In the UK, throughout October the walk-through area at Cardiff Airport will feature two high-profile, dedicated promotion units for the BCA Campaign. In addition Nuance and the airport have offered space to highlight the cause on both their airside and landside flight information screens. Till points are decorated with messages, together with counter cards, ribbons and promotional products. Lastly, Nuance employees will be participating in a pink “Bake Off” challenge to commemorate the cause.
