JAT sponsors St. Thomas’ College Cricket for the 3rd Consecutive Year

JAT Holdings, Sri Lanka’s undisputed leader in the furnishing and finishing industry, has pledged its support towards the game of cricket by sponsoring St. Thomas’ College cricket; the 3rd consecutive year it has done so.

As a proud alumnus at Thomas’ who excelled in garnering colors in representing the College in many track and field sports himself, Mr. Aelian Gunawardene, the Managing Director of JAT Holdings, was delighted to continue his unstinted support for achieving excellence in the sporting arena of his Alma Mater.

It was with great pride and joy that Mr. Gunawardene signed the official MOU in the presence of the Warden of St. Thomas’ College, Rev. Fr. Marc Billimoria, Chairman of the Cricket Advisory Committee St. Thomas’ College, Kapila Wijegunawardene, and Director of Sales and Marketing JAT Holdings, Surani Sahabandu, on 6th of November 2015.

The sponsorship extends not merely to the 1st X1 Cricket team of St. Thomas’ but to every single of the college’s cricket teams comprising of all age groups.


JAT’s patronage will cover all Test Matches (2 day and 3 day included) and the one day encounters played by St. Thomas’ for the entirety of 2015/ 2016.
