Alpha re-launches revamped hospital furniture range

Further adding value and bringing to light the essence of high quality steeland wood based furniture, Alpha Industries, a leading manufacturer of wood and steel based furniture in the country have relaunched their hospital furniture range.

The revamped hospital range is generally aimed to provide users with the essential medical comfort and Alpha’s extension into the healthcare range has been considered a natural move for the company as specializing in steel has been the norm for the company.

Commenting on the recent upgrade approach that was taken up by Alpha Industries, Managing Director for Alpha, Priyanjith Weerasooria said, “We had a few hospital furniture items before but we have widened the range with a lot of new items. Since most hospital furniture is incorporated with steel, and since our specialty was also into this entity, we decided to set a stride into this market. We therefore consider this as a natural move.”

All products are manufactured locally at the highest quality standards and comply accordingly with hospital requirements.


Alpha is also aISO 9001:2008 certified company.


With buyers from the healthcare sector, the product range is available to meet the needs of small scale entities such as pharmacies up to large scale establishments such as hospitals itself.

Another point that Alpha focuses on is manufacturing quality products for customers who seek affordability.


With the ever-changing dynamics of the healthcare sector in particular, Sri Lanka is also evolving constantly in terms of producing furniture that would not only prove comfortable but also integrate state-of-the-art designs and furniture that would suit the array of medical surroundings.
