The launch event took place at the state-of-the-art FORD Centre, 3S dealership facility located at Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla, which houses the FORD showroom, sales and service all under one roof.
The Loyalty Card Programme will extend to all existing and new FORD customers, offering them special discounts on selected spare parts for their vehicle.
In addition, FORD customers can accumulate points when they utilize facilities such as vehicle services and accident repairs.
These points can be converted into Rupees at the end of each quarter, where the customers will have the option of redeeming them and obtaining valuable gift vouchers as well as further discounts on FORD spare parts.
Loyalty Cards will be made available in e-card or physical card format, based on the customer’s accessibility.
Speaking about the programme, Chamath Tennekoon – CEO of Future Automobiles stated, “As the local representative of a global pioneer in the automobile industry, we are constantly looking at new ways to better connect with our growing customer base in Sri Lanka.
We are launching this Loyalty Card Programme to offer our valued customers a wide variety of genuine benefits that will make a positive impact in the way they experience their FORD vehicle and interact with our team at Future Automobiles.”
He added that this programme is part of a wider plan where the company is set to expand operations to cater to the growing demand for FORD vehicles.
“The demand will for the first time see FORD setting up 3S operations outside Colombo in order to extend our product and service offerings to outstation customers” he added.
Elaborating further on the Loyalty Card Programme, Gihan Vitharana – Head of Sector Sales stated, “We see the Loyalty Card as a vital tool in our business marketing arsenal.
These cards are designed to encourage repeat purchases by offering rewards to customers and will also help us to track their buying patterns in order to provide them with the best products at the most competitive prices.
The implementation of the Loyalty Card Programme will be carried out according to the Best Practices standards of FORD Motor Company, where each and every customer will feel proud to be an owner of the Loyalty Card.”
