Businesscafe - TikTok has published its latest Q1 2024 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, highlighting significant new data points and trends from the first quarter of 2024 and showcasing the platform's dedication to fostering a safe environment for its global community.

In Q1 2024, TikTok removed 166,997,307 videos worldwide, representing about 0.9% of all uploaded videos.


A substantial portion of these, 129,335,793 videos, were identified and removed through automated detection technologies, while 6,042,287 videos were reinstated upon further review.


Additionally, TikTok removed 976,479,946 video comments during the first quarter for violating its Community Guidelines.


This represents 1.6% of total video comments published during that period.


Creators also used their extensive comment safety tools to filter or remove 3,381,646,722 comments from their videos during that period.


Leveraging advanced technology and human oversight, TikTok remains committed to identifying, reviewing, and addressing content contravening its guidelines.


The periodic publication of the Community Guidelines Enforcement Report offers insights into the scale and nature of content and account actions, underscoring TikTok's commitment to full transparency.


Furthermore, TikTok is also launching a new, stand-alone report on its efforts to combat online child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSEA) and the sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), as it makes the platform inhospitable for those that seek to cause harm to children.
