Rotary Watches is set to launch a new range of watches called Lucerne for women at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October (Stand Number: Yellow Village AA17).

The Swiss watch brand will also highlight an extension to its ‘Les Originales’ Jura line and a new high performance quartz complication during the exhibition.

Named after the famous Swiss lakeside city, the new Lucerne ladies range is said to be created for women who want a wristwatch that "makes profound style statements".

The collection's 28mm and 34 mm cases are available in a selection of stainless steel, PVD gold and PVD rose gold or a combination of both materials. The timepieces are offered with sapphire glass and a choice of Austrian crystal-paved bezels or simple, plain bezels. Each watch contains a quartz movement and is waterproof.

Rotary’s Les Originales is also extending its Jura family of Swiss made, skeleton, automatic, watches.

Fusing traditional and contemporary design elements, each model features 21 jewels within the movement for precision and distinctive skeleton dials which are combined with open case backs. The skeleton dials offer visibility of the branded automatic calibre which has a bespoke winged wheel rotor design. Each dial within the Jura range is shielded by sapphire glass and surrounded by either a stainless steel, PVD gold or PVD rose gold case, and fastened with a brown or black leather strap.

Rotary said this range has been “very sensitively priced to offer premium quality within an affordable pricing bracket”.

According to the watchmaker, two inter-linked themes - classic style and innovation - have defined and characterised its success in the past 119 years. These themes are highlighted in its new high performance quartz complication with Rotary emphasising its dedication to creating "affordable Swiss made luxury".

The quartz complication design combines clean lines with a sleek geometry. The Swiss made timepiece features an off-set second at 6 o’clock, a retrograde day indicator and big date window. The ensemble is housed in a 40mm case and shielded by sapphire glass and the watch is completed with a black leather strap with a deployment clasp.

During the TFWA show Rotary will also highlight its four-year sponsorship deal as the Global Official Timekeeper of Chelsea FC and its Special Edition: two Swiss made individually numbered, quartz, chronograph watches. These commemorative timepieces showcase the Chelsea FC blue lion crest and feature 12-hour chronograph, blue outer millisecond track markers, off-set second and date window at 6 c'clock.

The Special Edition case has a Chelsea FC embossed back, blue lion crown and blue outer sapphire glass gasket. With either a black leather strap with blue stitching or a five-link stainless steel bracelet, both watches are "a perfect symbol of sport fusion and innovation, paying tribute to one of London’s most famous football clubs", Rotary said.

Each watch is accompanied by a Rotary certificate of authenticity.
