This appointment marks only the third time a Sri Lankan representative has been elected to the Board of UFTAA, signifying the growing influence and expertise of professionals from the region on the global stage.
With a diverse background in airline revenue management, modern marketing, and human resources, along with academic achievements including an MBA and ongoing PhD pursuit, Kuruwitaarachchi is uniquely positioned to contribute invaluable insights and strategic direction to UFTAA.
His leadership within TAASL and his role as the founder of Travel Outlook Ltd. exemplify his dedication to advancing the travel industry.

As the founder of Travel Outlook Private Limited, a Destination Management Company (DMC), he has pioneered comprehensive travel solutions globally, specializing in corporate and group holiday packages, group incentive tours, and inbound tourism that highlights the best of Sri Lanka.
Apart from his business endeavors, Kuruwitaarachchi serves as the President of TAASL and is actively involved in shaping the future of the travel industry in Sri Lanka and beyond.
