Both programmes saw a combined participation of 220 individuals.
Participants were given financial literacy booklets to help them keep track of their personal and business finances, and HNBF members were present to act as mentors to provide guidance in for the participants in the future.
“Through this programme, we have been able to raise awareness and enrich the knowledge and financial understanding among people who are in business, and need it the most.
By addressing financial inclusion issues and promoting financial literacy in a consistent and focused manner, we will undoubtedly uplift the socio-economic standing among our micro, small and medium customers,” noted HNBF Head of Marketing Udara Gunasinghe.
