Celebrated by millions across the country, Poson Poya brings devout buddhists as well as people of all faiths together every year.
Carrying forward the generational tradition of inspiring a sense of harmony and generosity amongst the people, Siyapatha Finance PLC organised the “Siyapatha Poson Dansala” for the eighth consecutive year.
The dansala distributed bread with Seeni Sambol to 3,000 people throughout the day and concluded on a highly gratifying note.
“We are extremely delighted to have our annual Poson dansala continued for the eighth year.
This not only gives us the opportunity to fulfil our responsibility of giving back to society, but also to bring people of many faiths and cultures together.
Siyapatha Finance PLC is hopeful to continue this effort in the years to come,” shared Siyapatha Finance PLC Chief Human Resources Officer Mr. Prasad Udugampola.
Fully sponsored by the staff of Siyapatha’s Head Office, the Siyapatha Poson Dansala also displayed comradeship amongst team members in serving the hundreds of individuals that lined up at the dansala.
