Businesscafe - Sri Lanka’s luxury beachfront resort, Citrus Waskaduwa, recently joined hands with Kings Hospital Colombo to commence operations as an Intermediary Care Centre (ICC), strengthening Sri Lanka’s fight against COVID-19.

Citrus Waskaduwa, which was one of the first resorts to offer its property and facilities to the government of Sri Lanka to be utilized as a quarantine center, takes this brave step forward showing resourcefulness in accelerating the country’s recovery and aptly adapting to the ‘new normal’ of living alongside the global pandemic.

The Intermediary Care Centre begins operations on the 5th of March 2021, wherein asymptomatic and mild symptomatic COVID-19 patients will receive world-class accommodation and meals via Citrus Waskaduwa, with Kings Hospital bringing years of expertise in medical care and operating the treatment of patients under the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
