The exotic and breezy theme will encompass the clothing collection as well as the in-store décor and will cater to the many tourists lured by Sri Lanka’s tropical charms to holiday on the island.
With lively colours and stylish, must-have designs, the Spring ’15 collection speaks to the energy and vitality of life on this idyllic paradise.
In line with the global theme of resort wear with which each year begins and extends for three months, the new Spring ‘15 collection just in, will include versatile pieces that can be worn to and from the ocean or the pool and items which can travel with ease and look chic at the same time.
Popular choices range from kaftans, jumpsuits, swimwear, shorts and sandals to full-length dresses for women and light jackets for men, the company said.
The colour direction for Spring ’15 is dominated by Candy Pink, Raspberry, Moonlight Mauve, Aruba Blue, Freesia, and Bright Chartreuse, with larger-than-life prints, shout-out-loud colours and whimsical accessories setting the tone.
Odel’s quirky mascot for this season is the eye catching flamingo that appears in all aspects of the company’s advertising and in visual merchandising.
“It’s that time of year when holidaymakers from around the world escape the winter chill for warmer, exotic climates,” Marketing Director, Ms. Desiree Karunaratne said.
“The resort theme also works well for us because Sri Lanka is a tropical island, and the ideal canvas for colourful inspiration.”
