Around 100 staff members took part in Asian Alliance Got Talent, organized by the company’s Sports Club, which featured 30 events including two dramas, 12 dances and 16 solo and group singing performances.
The IT Team emerged the overall winner of the competition and the General Insurance (GI) team was adjudged Runner-up. The winners were recognized with trophies and cash prizes.
Pathum Ekanayaka (Kottawa Branch) won the award for ‘Best Solo Singing’ while Upeksha Hettige (Life Customer Relations Unit) won ‘Best Solo Dancing’. Shehan Fernando's Team (Life Head Office) emerged victorious in ‘Best Group Singing’ and Anne Florida's Team (Negombo Branch) was triumphant in the ‘Best Group Dancing Team’ category.
The Jury's Award was won by Bhagya Wickramasinghe and Binali Peshalika (Life Head Office).
The choreographers of the event were Nimmi Karunarathna, Nirosha Wijegunasekara, Sanka Dassanayaka, Isuru Weerasinghe and Wasantha Wittachchi while the Music Director was Navarathna Gamage.
The panel of judges consisted of Suvineetha Subasinghe, Chaminda Welagedara and Jananath Warakagoda.
The event was directed by Amittha Weerasinghe while Pushpakumara Batangala was the Sound Engineer.
