Aside from bringing back popular on-site favorites like the "Cash Splash!", through which one lucky listener will end the season Rs.100,000 richer, E FM's seasonal promotions will also encompass an array of exciting, new ideas including "The Merry Mashup" and “Kiddie Karaoke."
The former is a promo where listeners call in to Divas and the PM Crunch to identify five songs that have been spliced together, while the latter involves parents sending in videos of their kids singing Christmas songs.
Another classic, the Birthday Surprise, will be brought back, with a cake being gifted to the first visitor who can prove that they are celebrating their birthday on that day.
E FM will also be giving away an iPhone 7 on the Morning Showgram! Participants in the Text Race will be given a unique code and told to have as many people as possible send that code in to E FM’s text line within a given amount of time, to enter the running.
Participants can use whatever media they like to spread the word, as long as the people they reach send the code to the right number on time.
E FM listeners will also have access to a number of social media promos during the festive season, adding further excitement to an already exciting time of year.
For instance, the "All I Want for Christmas" promo asks fans to post a picture on the E FM Facebook page on what they would like to get for Christmas under the descriptor “All I Want for Christmas is…” and under the value of 25,000 rupees.
Whoever gets the highest amount of likes on their post by the 20th of December will have their wish come true, courtesy of E FM!
Creative Caroling is another on-air promo, for which listeners will have to walk in to the studio during Alive @ 5 with their own take on a Christmas carol or tune and sing at least 2 lines of it on air.
Everyone who comes by with an original take on a classic song will enter a draw, from which one person will be chosen to be given a prize of 5000 rupees every day.
Listeners can also give E FM’s digital "Wheel of Fortune" a spin to win SMS packages, data bundles and other merchandise.
