The major annual award ceremony of the company was held for the fourth consecutive year at the Water’s Edge with the participation of Kelani Cables CEO Mr. Mahinda Saranapala.
The CEO conferred the award to Mr. Suranga Pathirana; assistant sales manager of the kelani Cables PLC projects section.
Suranga Pathirana acknowledged the cash award wrapped with a foreign trip for exceeding his annual target by 27 percent to bring a record sales volume of 276 million rupees to the company.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Mahinda Saranapala, CEO, Kelani Cables PLC said the strength of any company is its committed workforce.
Thus a successful organization’s responsibility is to recognize its employees who contribute towards the betterment and sustainability of the organization.

The company secured gold at the SLITAD People Development – 2013 award ceremony for the contribution it has made towards training and development of the work-force plus up keeping their welfare.
