Just as you would expect from an SV model, the more hardcore Aventador comes with additional power in a lighter package as it has gained an extra 50 HP to 750 HP (552 kW) while losing 50 kg (now at 1,525 kg) thanks to a more extensive use of carbon fiber.
It has enabled the supercar to achieve a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 2.8 seconds (0.1s quicker) before topping out at more than 217 mph (350 km/h).
Aside from benefiting from the ideal more power (torque remains at 690 Nm) less weight combo, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce comes with a 150 percent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency and generates an extra 170 percent of downforce compared to the standard model.
The added oomph is matched with a significantly more aggressive body while on the inside there's a new TFT instrument cluster and bespoke seats.
The launch colour is called "Rosso Bia" and is combined with a black Alcantara interior while an additional five colors will be offered to those willing to pay the €327,190 starting price in Europe.
All cars get matte black 20-inch front & 21-inch rear wheels wrapped around in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, with stopping power coming from standard carbon ceramic brakes.
Lamborghini has announced sales of the Aventador SV will kick off towards the end of spring.
