Here is a quick recap of the motorcycle, and what awaits enthusiasts.
The RS200 is expected to launch in at least two variants – with and without ABS – at a price in the region of INR 1.3 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
The ABS variants have a sticker on their front mudguard clearly stating that they’re equipped with this safety feature.
The fully-faired motorcycle will get other features like twin projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and a part digital instrument cluster, much like the 200 NS.
The triple-spark 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine will be borrowed from the 200 NS, though it remains to be seen if it comes with a fuel-injection system.
Depending on this technology, the RS200 will put out anywhere between 23.5-24.4 PS, and 18.3-18.6 Nm of torque.
Bajaj has equipped the RS200 with a 280 mm disc up front and a 230 mm disc at the rear.
Going by the company’s Turkish website, the RS200 will get a 12 liter fuel tank, and weigh 6 kg more than the 200 NS at 151 kg.
