The Alpha is priced at INR 49,939, the Ray Z at INR 48,936, and the Ray scooter at INR 47,805 – all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
As before, the scooters are powered by an air-cooled 113 cc four-stroke single cylinder engine that makes 7.1 bhp of power and 8.1 Nm of torque.
Based on the company’s ‘Blue Core’ development ideal, certain changes has been made to the engine in pursuit of better combustion efficiency, optimum cooling efficiency and reduced power loss.
The tweaks in the engine includes new Nickel spark plug, new muffler setting and new BS carburetor & TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) setting.
This, as the company claims, results in an improved fuel mileage at 66 km/l, compared to the earlier 62 km/l, and better engine performance.
The Yamaha scooters are also available in new colour schemes and graphics.
The Alpha is available with ‘Gleaming Gold’ colour, and the Ray Z scooter with ‘Cyan Splash’ colour scheme.
