Twitter, Edelman and Google have topped the list of best companies to work for based on culture and values according to a new report.

The list of 25 companies, compiled by job site Glassdoor, was based on US employee feedback shared over the past 12 months, and included themes of having a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere, a family-like environment and genuinely standing behind company values.

Twitter took the top spot with a 4.5 out of 5 rating for culture and values. PR agency, Edelman, ranked number two with a 4.4 rating, followed by Google (4.4). Rounding out the top five were Riverbed Technology (4.3) and Facebook (4.3).

Apple, Nike and the Walt Disney Company (15th, 16th and 17th respectively) also feature in the list.

The report used data based on companies with at least 100 reviews shared on Glassdoor.
